Haitus

Greetings, readers.

This journal is officially on haitus while our sick boy tries to get over his sick. He's worse today and thus joins the ranks of all the barely functional walking wounded in the world of the germ-rich winter.

We'll be back after these death groans.

Thanks, J. Between you, Boo and K, I feel pretty cared for :) Believe me, I'd call you if I need any help. At this point, unless you can cause me to be well and sleep, my needs are met :)

I will definitely take you up on it if I need it though.

PS I think a haitus is like a haiku with a break in the middle.

while a hiatus is just a rest.

I proudly stand by my misspelling.

I shall wait for the rest of you to adjust your dictionaries.

Do it soon. I may not last much longer.

I was wondering why I kept thinking he was writing a haiku about sputum and such.

Haikus... Senryus...
Winter, Spring, Fall... whatever.
I'd rather break the rules.

Well, I spent just over a week feeling like crap. I felt almost normal today. Magic Milkshakes work :-)

It'd be cool to know what I had... best guess of on-line diagnostics was either Mumps (the mildest case on record) or Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (shortest case on record) or Mono (I already had that, and this didn't feel like that at all). Fun, huh?

But even at my worst, I don't think I was as miserable as William is feeling now. Poor little wolfie/raven.

Hey! We're going to be in Seattle from the 7th to nearly the 14th but will be in Bellingham for the weekend. Is there another time that we could meet with you while we're there?

So, on this haitus, will we get one haiku a day or more? Do the death groans come in the forms of haikus as well? I bet there's a coughing, hacking, throat clearing gronk of a haiku to come soon.
