"I like that too," said Christopher Robin, "but what i like doing best is Nothing."

"How do you do Nothing?" asked Pooh, after he had wondered for a long time.

"Well, it's what people call out at you just as you're going off to do it, What are you going to do, Christopher Robin, and you say, Oh, Nothing, and then you go and do it."

"Oh, I see," said Pooh.

"This is a nothing sort of thing that we're doing now."

"Oh, I see," said Pooh again.

"It means just going along, listening to all the things you can't hear, and not bothering.

I'd like to do Nothing soon. It's good to have a Pooh to do it with though.

Oh thank you Wolf boy for the reminder. That Pooh and Christofer Robin...they sure are smart.

And by the way.....I'm missing you and thinking of you often of late. I'm sending a bee hug.

Oh man, to be be a child again, when doing nothing was not something to be ashamed of, rather it was always the beginning of times most excellent.

As we fill our lives with 40 hour days, weekends that are really week-extensions, and the stress of "not enough hours in the day", we all need a "nothing sort of day"

Thank you Christopher, and thank you Wolfie for the reminder.

Btw, Clare actually never meant to send me this quote. Her phone has taken to randomly pasting portions of old e mails onto the ends of text messages. So I just happened to receive, purely by chance, a message saying something like "See you at 3 then x "Yes, I like that too," said Christopher Robin...." in the middle of my conversation with you..... Weird and wonderful how this world of ours works, no?
xx
